Hi there! I'm Farivar Amiri, and I've been on a journey that's as diverse as it is exciting. From running my own café to analyzing financial markets, and diving deep into software development, I've gathered a wealth of experiences that I’m eager to share.

I started as the owner and manager of Lomana Cafe, mastering business management and the art of creating memorable customer experiences. My entrepreneurial spirit also led me into the automotive industry, partnering in importing automotive parts.
With 14 years in financial markets, specializing in Forex trading and analysis, I've developed a keen sense of market dynamics and risk management. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to hone my analytical skills.
I hold degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Atomic Physics from a prestigious university in my home country. This strong technical background has fueled my passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Technical Skills & Projects
My love for technology took me to App Academy, where I became proficient in JavaScript, Ruby, and more. One of my proudest projects is VelvetVenues, a platform I built using React and Rails. It’s a showcase of my ability to integrate various technologies into a seamless application.
Beyond the Code
When I’m not working, you’ll find me with a good book or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I believe that creativity in cooking translates to creativity in problem-solving.
My hands-on approach extends to DIY projects. From electronics repair to carpentry and automotive work, I love tackling new challenges. One of my most ambitious projects was constructing a car almost entirely by myself, which naturally led me into the thrilling world of drift racing.
